Stallan-Brand Architecture + Design
Founders Paul Stallan and Alistair Brand have successfully run a design studio together for over 20 years now, designing and delivering prestigious projects locally and internationally ranging in value from £100k to £500m.

Formerly an advisor to the Scottish Government in the capacity of Education Design Champion, Paul Stallan has considerable experience in the design of education campus environments. Experience that is evident in the architectural practice’s clear understanding of the learning landscape, from pre-school environments through to Higher Education architecture, including the need for supporting pastoral care and quality student residential accommodation.

Most recently, Stallan and Brand have led the design and delivery of a brand new campus for the University of West of Scotland on the Craigie Estate in Ayr, and have seen their designs completed for a new state-of-the-art student residential provision for Heriot Watt University at both the Riccarton and Galashiels campuses. In addition, the duo have been involved in the delivery of new Further Education college estates for North Glasgow College, Newcastle College and Jewel & Esk College.
